The Lodge Restaurant is located in a former hay barn & cart store to the north of Blakelands Main House. A sympathetic conversion that gives open views out across the South Staffordshire Countryside for your meal,
and the separate bar & lounge area overlooking Blakelands House, that also spills out into the gardens during Summer months.

Heather Morgan, Restaurant Manager Craig Handy & Head Chef Richard Kenny and the Lodge team look forward to welcoming you
and your guests to dine at Blakelands.

The Lodge Restaurant is open from 6.00pm Wednesday & Thursday Evenings, & from 7.00pm on both Friday & Saturday evenings.
Traditional Sunday Lunch is served from midday.

Wednesday Evenings is our 'Pop out for Tea night' and benefits from a 20% discount off the stated menu price, ideal if you dont fancy cooking & wish to come out with the family.

Join our Family. Join the Blakelands e-mailing list & recieve monthly updates, new menu's & special offers. we can now boast over 1100 members of the family, we rarely put special offers in the press or magazines, instead prefering to send them direct to you.

With only a single sitting, bookings are taken on an arrival time basis allowing time to have a drink in the bar area while you peruse the menu & wine list and generally relax to a quieter pace. As well as locally sourced foods on the menu, you will also find locally sourced drinks in the bar. Real ale from the Enville Brewery, as well as wines from the nearby Award Winning Halfpenny Green Vineyards.

Orders are taken while in the bar & shown through to your table when Chef is ready, and with only one sitting ever taken, the emphasis is on relaxed dining, where Heather and her team guide you effortlessly through your course's.
The Restaurant seats 50 and the mix of different size tables provides for an open but intimate setting.
The table is yours for as long as you wish to take over your meal, making this an ideal restaurant for that special occasion or to catch up with old friends.

Oue main menu runs throughout the year with occasional changes, but retaining all the favourite dishes, in additon to this we offer a seasonal a la carte menu serving spring through March, April & May, changing to summer for June to August, autumn for September to November & finally winter for December until February.
The menu's are decided upon in conjunction with our Head Chef Richard Kenny & Restaurant owner Heather Morgan.

The Restaurant has a reputation for sourcing its ingredients from local suppliers, but not at the expence of quality. Our suppliers come from our own county of Staffordshire and also the neighbouring counties of Worcestershire & Shropshire.

Concentrating on an English style menu with large freshly cooked portions, everything we do is prepared here, all our soups, pate's and sauces are freshly made, & we make & bake our own puddings, when the season permits with apples & fruits from our own well established gardens.
The Menus are centred around firm favourites such as Steak, Duck, Chicken and fish, along with vegetarian selections.

We firmly believe our young team of Chefs to be amongst the best in the area and would love to have the opportunity to show you what they can do.

Our Evening Menus are individually priced by the course, Sunday Lunch is simply priced for three courses.
We always ensure the menus cater for all tastes, from the simple, well cooked, to dishes with a more exotic flare.
Current menu's can be downloaded from above or telephone and we will happily post a copy to you.

if you are booking a group or party, with prior notice we can provide menus for your guests without prices if you require. You may also arrange for a cake to be presented if it is a special occasion and you may also provide simple table decoration.
We would however point out that unless you have booked for a private meal, with exclusive use of the restaurant, that for the comfort of our other diners, the saying of Grace or Speeches at the table is not permissable and that we are unable to take tables larger than 8 guests on Saturday Evenings.
For the comfort of all diners, regretfully, on Saturday Evenings the restaurant is not suitable for young children.

The Restaurant has ample off road car parking and we are well served by local taxi firms, there is also a large helicopter landing area.

Reservations can be made with the administration team or with the restaurant on 01384 221000 or at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
